Official Rules and Terms & Conditions

1. Purpose

The 31 Days of Celebration Raffle is organized by Celebration K-8 PTA to raise funds

supporting educational programs, student activities, teacher appreciation, and other PTA-

approved initiatives benefiting the school community.

2. Important Dates

– Entry Period Opens: October 26, 2026

– Entry Period Closes: January 28, 2027

– Daily Prize Drawings: January 1–31, 2027

– Prize Distribution: February 2027

Exact drawing times, drawing location, entry deadlines, and prize distribution arrangements will

be determined by Celebration K-8 PTA.

Entries received after the applicable deadline for a drawing will not be included in that drawing.

Entries may be eligible for subsequent drawings in accordance with these Official Rules.

3. Eligibility and Entry Methods

Participation is subject to these Official Rules and applicable law. Any additional eligibility or

age restrictions will be disclosed before entries are accepted.

Participants may obtain raffle entries by making a voluntary donation in the suggested amount

advertised by the PTA. A donation is not required to participate.

No purchase, payment, or donation is necessary to enter or win.

Free Method of Entry: To enter without making a purchase or donation, handwrite your full

name, mailing address, telephone number, email address, and date of birth on a 3-by-5-inch

card. Mail the card in a stamped envelope to:

Limit one entry per envelope. Mail-in entries must be received by the applicable entry deadline

to qualify for the relevant drawing. Postmarks alone do not establish eligibility.All valid entries, whether received through a voluntary donation or the free mail-in method, will

be treated equally and will have the same opportunity to win in each drawing for which they

qualify.

4. Daily Drawings, Winner Selection, and Social Media

One winner will be selected at random for each daily prize during January 1–31, 2027, for a

total of 31 prizes. **Drawings are intended to take place in Celebration, Florida, on the dates

listed on the raffle calendar, subject to unforeseen circumstances as described below.**

Drawing Schedule: Drawings are intended to take place on the dates listed on the raffle

calendar. Because Celebration K-8 PTA is operated by volunteers, unforeseen circumstances

may occasionally require a drawing to be delayed. If a delay occurs, the PTA will make

reasonable efforts to conduct the drawing as soon as practicable.

Video Recordings and Social Media: The PTA intends to videotape each drawing and share the

recordings on its Instagram and Facebook pages to promote transparency and share the

excitement of the raffle with the school community. However, because the raffle is administered

by volunteers, recording and posting may be delayed or may not be possible for every drawing.

The absence of a video or social media post does not invalidate a drawing or affect the

selection of a winner.

Each drawing is separate and applies to the prize advertised for that date. Winners will be

selected through a fair, random process from all eligible entries included in the applicable

drawing.

Each eligible entry will be assigned to the drawings for which it qualifies under the published

entry procedures. An entry will not be included retroactively in a drawing that has already

occurred.

Once an entry is selected as a winner, that specific entry will be permanently removed from all

remaining drawings. Other eligible entries held by the same participant will remain eligible. A

participant may win more than once if different eligible entries are selected in separate

drawings, subject to these Official Rules.

Drawings will not be canceled or made contingent on receiving a minimum amount of

donations.

5. Prizes and Donor Restrictions

Prizes are generously donated by participating businesses, organizations, and individuals

unless otherwise disclosed.

Prize descriptions, donor information, stated values when available, and applicable restrictions

will be provided in the individual prize paperwork. Additional fine print may apply to specific

prizes and will be disclosed with the applicable prize paperwork.

Prizes are awarded as advertised and are not redeemable for cash through the PTA. No cash

alternative or winner-requested substitution will be provided.

Prizes may be subject to restrictions established by the donor, including expiration dates,

reservation requirements, blackout dates, availability, age requirements, and other redemption

conditions. Winners are responsible for reviewing and complying with all applicable restrictions.Prizes are subject to availability. If an advertised prize becomes unavailable before it is

awarded, the PTA may provide an appropriate replacement of comparable or greater value,

subject to applicable law. The PTA will fulfill its legal obligations concerning advertised prizes.

6. Prize Redemption and Additional Expenses

Winners are responsible for following the redemption instructions supplied with their prizes.

Unless expressly included in the advertised prize, winners are responsible for additional

purchases, upgrades, transportation, gratuities, taxes, shipping, and other incidental expenses.

The PTA is not responsible for lost, stolen, expired, damaged, or unused gift certificates or

vouchers, except where required by law.

Prizes may not be exchanged or substituted at a winner’s request.

7. Winner Notification and Prize Distribution

Winners will be contacted using the contact information provided with their entries.

Participants are responsible for providing accurate and current contact information.

Prizes are expected to be distributed during February 2027 according to the arrangements

published by the PTA.

If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim a prize within the stated claim period, the

PTA will take appropriate steps to ensure that the prize is awarded in accordance with

applicable law.

8. Participating Businesses and Prize Availability

Participating businesses and donors are independent third parties and are not employees or

agents of Celebration K-8 PTA.

The PTA does not guarantee the continued operation, ownership, availability, or performance of

any participating business or donor. To the extent permitted by law, the PTA is not responsible

for additional expenses or losses arising from business closures, canceled appointments,

changes in business operations, or a donor’s failure to honor a prize.

This provision does not relieve the PTA of any legal obligation it has concerning advertised

prizes.

9. Liability and Taxes

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Celebration K-8 PTA, its officers, volunteers,

representatives, and participating donors disclaim responsibility for losses, damages, or

expenses arising from the use or redemption of prizes, except where liability cannot legally be

excluded.

The PTA makes no independent warranties regarding products or services supplied by third-

party donors.

Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes associated with their prizes. The PTA will

comply with applicable tax reporting obligations.10. Privacy

Participant information will be used as reasonably necessary to administer the raffle, verify

entries, notify winners, and distribute prizes.

Winning entry numbers and limited winner information may be announced publicly. Any

publication of personally identifying information will be handled in accordance with applicable

law and any necessary permissions.

Participant contact information will not be sold to participating businesses.

11. Financial Accountability

The PTA will maintain appropriate records of entries, voluntary donations, winning entries, and

prize distribution.

Raffle proceeds will support approved PTA purposes and will be managed in accordance with

applicable law and PTA financial policies.

12. Florida PTA Registration Disclosure

The Florida PTA State Office operates under Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer

Services registration number **CH36283**.

represent a registration number held by Celebration K-8 PTA.

13. Changes and Administration

The PTA may make administrative corrections or adjustments reasonably necessary to comply

with applicable law. Any changes will be handled in a manner consistent with applicable legal

obligations and will not unfairly disadvantage eligible participants.

The PTA will not arbitrarily exclude eligible entries or fail to fulfill its legal obligations concerning

advertised prizes.

Any additional prize-specific terms will supplement these Official Rules. If a prize-specific term

conflicts with these Official Rules or applicable law, applicable law will control.

14. Governing Law

These Official Rules are intended to be administered in accordance with applicable Florida law,

including Florida Statute § 849.0935, to the extent applicable, and relevant PTA policies.

Participation in the raffle constitutes acceptance of these Official Rules, subject to applicable

law.
